Nairobi

Nairobi is the Capital of Kenya and the largest city in East Africa. The City has a population of more than three million people. The population growth can be attributed mainly to increase in rural-urban migration and high birth rates. Nairobi was established about a century ago as a supply point for railway builders. The City flourished to become the capital of the British Protectorate.

Nairobi currently faces major problems mainly due to high crime rates. The city was rated as one of the most dangerous in the world by the United Nations.
